Kat's Bio

Hey there! My name is Kat King LaPlante. I'm a Louisiana native who grew up in Metairie and Boutte. My family moved to St. Charles Parish is 2005 and I've been here ever since, go Hahnville High! I have two beautiful boys, Liam 10 and Bennett 6. I also have three fur kids: Mardi a 9 year old golden retriever, Luna a 5 year old standard poodle, and Inkey our rescue tuxedo cat. Much like the information on the home page's About Us suggests, I am an animal lover with many years of veterinary experience. Even before I was of working age I spent a lot of my time volunteering for the SCP animal shelter. It was a no-brainer for me when I decided to make a career of it. 

Presently, I'm a part of the Critical Care team at MedVet New Orleans.
